Email #10: What Else Should You Look For When Outsourcing? (Part 1)

Dear <firstname> ,
We have covered what sort of ghostwriters,
programmers and graphic artists suit your
online business best.

However because every online business and
project is different, I would like to spend some
time talking about traits of good freelancers
you should look at.

Firstly, the most no brainer of them all is quality
of work. Take a look at their portfolio. If you're
looking at a writer, request to see samples of their
articles. Study the quality of their work. You
may make a firm decision after that.

Look for an independent worker. They need to be
able to work independently make individual decisions.
This depends on how how freedom you are willing
to give them to do so. Make sure they know what
needs to be confirmed with you and what doesn't.

Your contractors must stick to time schedules. You
could lose tons of money and credibility if your
product launch dates arrive and the product is not
ready yet. So dump those companies and freelancers
you feel cannot observe launch dates punctually.

The quality of communication is another mega issue.
A lot of online companies nowadays outsource
help desks. Now you'll have to do your homework
when it comes to the quality of help desk staff. Some
of these help desk officers can't enunciate or pronounce
their words clearly and it is a major challenge just to
listen to them string two sentences.

I will continue this tutorial in the next email as there
are still matters you have to take note of when outsourcing
your projects to others.
